We built an innovative interface and developed a comprehensive series of interactions to facilitate a new and engaging way of communicating with Mercedes drivers.

The smart key serves as a premium Internet of Things (IoT) device, which seamlessly connects to the user’s phone and significantly augments their automotive experience, both before and after the car purchase. This cutting-edge device is equipped with a variety of advanced features that effectively utilize the onboard hardware to enhance functionality and user convenience. The smart key connects to the user’s phone through a Bluetooth Low Energy microcontroller, enabling instant notifications through gentle vibrations and visually striking light indicators.

These thoughtfully designed features include a sophisticated clock that employs the lights to indicate the time in a clear and elegant manner, alongside a highly efficient compass that, through the phone’s GPS and an onboard magnetometer, accurately displays the exact location where you have parked your car, thereby eliminating the usual stress and confusion associated with finding one’s vehicle in crowded lots.

By integrating these capabilities, we not only improve the user experience but also reinforce the connection between the driver and their Mercedes vehicle, ensuring that every interaction is as user-friendly and high-tech as possible.
